Our new Longitude Prize on Dementia, funded by Alzheimer’s Society and Innovate UK and delivered by Challenge Works, has joined forces with our portfolio of partners to host a series of virtual hackathons open to innovators round the world hoping to win the £1m grand prize.
These hackathon sessions will connect innovators with experts, the funders of the prize programme and people living with dementia, to help them better understand the condition and how they can enter and win the Prize.

People living with dementia and carers will share first hand experience of what it’s like to live with dementia, and what transformative technology they believe would improve their lives.
The Panel discussion will be a chance for innovators to hear from the panel of experts and programme partners of:

Innovators will have the opportunity to connect with one another and speak with the prize partners in breakout sessions about technologies they may already be working on, or to seek advice on a potential entry to the prize.
